Agates-R-Us would like to welcome you to the Web-site dedicated to the Lake Superior Agate.

PLEASE NOTE: As soon as we are back from our family vacation we will have lots of new agate that will be listed in the Individual Rocks Page(s). We also have had a lot of requests for smaller and less expensive Individual Stones for sale in the $20.00 to $50.00 dollar price range. We always strive to keep our prices the most competitive prices that you can find anywhere, but over the last several years some of the top collector's have upped the ante for premium Laker's which has caused many of the smaller dealer's to pay higher prices to compete for the best stone available.

As a kid, my two sisters and I would spend our summer vacations on our parents farm in northern Minnesota. I remember spending hours searching for agates up and down our gravel roads and in our farm fields and also in the lake that we lived on.

The idea for a mail-order E-commerce dedicated to the Lake Superior Agate began to emerge in April of 1999. I went to a national book store and enquired about books on Lake Superior Agates. As the clerk checked her computer's database it came up with one rock and mineral book which had less than a page of information on the Lake Superior Agate. Disappointed, I left with the idea of a one stop Web-Site for all those hard-to-find Laker Superior Agate products. Hence, Agates-R-Us was born!
